Student Code & Student Charter
In particular we expect that all members of the college community will respect others at all time, whatever their sex, religion, language, culture, ethnicity, sexuality or abilities. Racism, sexism, homophobia or other forms of discrimination and harassment therefore have no place within a community based on mutual respect. We promote and expect all members of our college community to have a commitment to the basic British Values of democracy, liberty, the rule of law and mutual respect.
The college also has in place a clear 'Disciplinary & Behaviour Policy' for students and this outline the approach the college will take to promoting and ensuring positive behaviours at all times.
Regent College has firmly embedded a personalised approach in our Student Support Structure. Every learner is allocated a Personal Supervisor as their primary point of contact for information and support. Parents and carers are also encouraged to engage directly with the Personal Supervisor to ensure good communication and responsive support to any circustances that may affect learning or success.
Equality and Diversity
Regent College is committed to promoting Equality and Diversity of opportunity for all staff and learners, as expressed within the College’s Strategic Plan and core values, which drive and give shape to all of the College’s activities.
Staff and students are advised not to bring valuables onto college premises or to leave them unattended. While every care is taken to ensure the safety of the college campus, the college takes no responsibility for loss or damage to the personal property of students or staff.
Other Key Policies
All college policies are available on request and some of the key policies affecting our students and stakeholders are listed here for reference. This is not an exhaustive list of all policies and if you have any queries please contact Lynn Murdock (PA to SMT) in the first instance.
Health & Safety
