Regent Students attend International Space Olympics
Held in Korolyov, Russia during October, Regent College two students, Bridgette Jones and Vladislavs Kurtenoks, were part of a 20-strong team of Leicester pupils to travel to Russia to take part in the XXI International Space Olympics.
There were more than 150 participants from as far afield as the USA, Israel and Greece, and the students had to present technical, social or economic projects based on space exploration to a prestigious panel, sit exams in specialist subjects and embark on trips and social events.
Vlad was awarded 18th place overall – a fantastic achievement – whilst Bridgette scored 81% on her literature examination. Well done to you both – you have made Regent College proud!
