Visual Arts students win 3 awards

Thirteen A2 Art and Photography students have shown off their creative talent and seen off tough competition to have their work selected for The Open Exhibition at the New Walk Museum.

The annual Christmas exhibition is a great measure of creative talent in the region. The Regent College students competed against four hundred exibitors for awards.  

Top performers were Rhys Evan Hughes and Sophie Bannatyne who were joint winners of the Photography Category in the Youth Section.  

Irmina Banak who was selected for The DMU Award in the Adult Category.

 

The exhibition runs until 9th January 2011.
