22nd and 23rd March 2011

Regent College was delighted to host the fourth Schools' Showcase at De Montfort Hall on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd March. Over 600 parents, carers and students attended the exhibition and performances that were held over two evenings.

The successful event provides music, art and drama students with a professional stage and exhibition space to showcase their work.

Sarah Oldfield, Head of Regent College Arts, Culture and English Division said: “ The show was designed to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our young people in the visual and performing arts. We started off running this event once a year but it has been such a huge success with the schools that we had to extend it and hold it over two nights. This is a real community event and everyone involved worked really hard to make it another huge success.”

Several other city and county schools and colleges contributed to the event programme including; Lutterworth High School, Wyggeston and Queen Elizabeth 1 College, Guthlaxton College, St. Pauls Catholic School, Market Bosworth High School, Rawlins Community College, Studio 79 and Woodbrook Vale High School.
