30 March 2011
Regent students took part in a workshop that looked at issues of transition for young people; new relationships; leaving school and going on to new places.
The workshop was delivered in partnership with the Curve theatre arts facilitation training project. The aim of the project is to help young people deliver a workshop around these themes which are in the new play about the harsh realities of growing up and independence; Time For The Good Looking Boy. The one-man play was nominated for a Writers' Guild Award 2010 for Best Play for Children and Young People and is coming to Curve at the end of March.
Building on its strong links with Regent College, Curve offered this free workshop as a way to stimulate young people through theatre techniques.
