Anthony Nolan Trust
The Anthony Nolan Trust saves the lives of people with blood cancer and for this they need donors. Regent College, supported by the Rik Basra Leukaemia Campaign, hosted an event on Friday 26th April and achieved the highest registration of new donors at a single day event. An amazing 417 registered!
The project was organised by students themselves as part of their curriculum, developing skills in active citizenship as part of A-level work.
Kas Basra said after the event "I am so pleased to say the final total reached 417 which is absolutely fantastic. The event was an absolute pleasure to facilitate, the support from the Regent College and all of you has been incredible. Your enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism was truly inspiring"
Rik Basra praised the whole team involved and said "An absolutely brilliant 417, which is of course a new Anthony Nolan record for highest college/university single event total.
Its a big thank you to all of you a real team effort"
